I was called to the Sri Lankan Bar, as an Attorney-at-law, in September 2007 having served Articles at Dr. Gunaratne, Queen Counsel’s chambers, A Colombo-Geneva based Law Chambers specialising in International Human Rights. Thereafter I have been practicing as a personal injury lawyer for the last 6 years in London and have been attached to Freeman Harris Solicitors for the last 4 years.
I have a degree in Law from the University of London and a Masters in Law in International Law from the University of Bristol. In Addition I also have a BA in Arts from the University of Colombo.

I have a keen interest in World Politics, Philosophy, sport, Cricket in particular, music and classic English Literature. I also write for a foreign independent newspaper on Human rights and Politics. I believe that a simple smile can make the world a better place.
